Last night’s Replicated art show at The Falcon in Orlando was a blast. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Blade Runner, the exhibition presented a variety of artists’ works using the iconic film as inspiration. The artwork is still there and is quite cool, so pop on by to have a peak until March 2. I supplied the soundtrack to the show, filling the first two opening hours with a session also inspired by the music, vibe, sounds, and dialogue from Blade Runner. As requested by many who were there, I’m making a recording of this session available to download. Keep in mind this isn’t your normal DJ set … this one was intended to create an appropriate atmosphere for viewing the art work. It’s quite moody and very electronic with a few unexpected moments. I hope you enjoy this! You can download both parts for a limited time by clicking HERE.
It’s a fantastic start to the new year with another sprawling, eclectic batch of top tunes lovingly pasted into a seamless mix for a little radio program we call Invisible Airwaves. Some of our favorite songs from the last quarter of 2011 are represented as well as a few surprises from recent years past. We’re certainly looking forward to what 2012 has in store for us musically, and we’ll continue to report our discoveries within the sonic confines of these monthly two hour DJ mixes. Here’s the action-packed track list for January’s edition:
If you miss the show then the stations will be repeating it throughout the month. Play.FM will also have the show available on demand after its first airing. I’ll also be posting the mix to my Mixcloud page towards the end of the month.

At the beginning of last month I had the pleasure of DJ’ing at Bar Standard in Denver, Colorado. For a portion of my set I was accompanied by my wonderful and talented friend Lisa Shaw who performed a number of her songs while I mixed the backing tracks. A recent web search unearthed the following video documentation of this event, deftly recorded by a couple of covert dance-floor inhabitants.
Lisa and I are always up for performing at your club, event, or high school reunion (I kid). Hit me up via the contact page for more information.
I’m pleased to be a part of Swiss house music label Acryl Music‘s 50th release, which is a single for Da Funk‘s fine track “Need For Faith.” I contributed a dreamy and creamy deep house remix with a bit of a nostalgic tinge within all the layers. Have a listen to my remix below:
The full single contains other remixes from the likes of Pete Moss, Si Brad, and Elmar Schubert, For full information on this release click HERE. You can purchase it now from Juno Download, Beatport, and a host of other fine digital shops.
Last month I had the pleasure of doing four DJ dates across Europe, hitting Bucharest, Moscow, Istanbul, and Glasgow. As expected, it was great fun and all the gigs were a nice success. As a bonus, I have two DJ Set recordings from the ‘tour’ below. These are also downloadable if you’d like to take them with you on your own tour. Have a listen:
As you’ll hear, both sets start with the same track but then veer off in different directions. I think it’s kind of nice how different these sets are even though they are only four days apart. The Bucharest set turned out to be an hour’s dose of compact energy, while the two hour Istanbul set is sort of a steady builder, developing into some nice deep house at the end. I hope you like these.
If you’re curious, I posted some travel pics from Bucharest and Istanbul on Google+ HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
For November’s Invisible Airwaves set, we decided to do our end-of-the-year cleaning a month early. Each month will fill our show with two hours of great new music that we’ve run across but due to time restraints, or to maintain stylistic flow, we aren’t able to fit everything in. Thus November’s set consists of tracks left over from the previous months as well as a few brand new goodies and one bonafide older “classic.” We were worried how naturally this set would flow as it’s a bit of a challenge to piece together odds and ends in a DJ set but, despite a couple sudden thematic left turns, the mix turned out kinda nice. By all means, it’s no November turkey, har har. We hope you dig it and find some new sonic discoveries of your own within. Here’s the track list:
If you miss the show then the stations will be repeating it throughout the month. Play.FM will also have the show available on demand after its first airing. I’ll also be posting the mix to my Mixcloud page towards the end of the month.

This weekend I’ll be risking TSA pat-downs as I travel to the middle of the country for a couple of wild and woolly DJ gigs hopefully near you. Here are the details:
November 4 – Denver, CO at Bar Standard A special gig as it will be the first time in the Mile High City that I’m joined by one of my favorite collaborators, the lovely Ms. Lisa Shaw. She’ll be seducing the dancefloor with her voice as I further tempt with my beats. It’s a night thrown by the Full Flavor Music label, and other DJ’s joining in on hijinks are Greg Campbell (Full Flavor) and Khalib (Treehouse Collective). For more details click HERE.
November 5 – Salt Lake City, UT at W Lounge Salt Lake City has become a regular haunt for my DJ exploits, a somewhat-yearly stop on my continuous stateside ‘tour.’ Nasty N8, who definitely knows how to throw a top party in SLC, will be hosting and helping with DJ duties, and the Big City House residents (Josh Max and Dan Dixon) will be supplying tunes as well. For more details be sure to click HERE.
Just for shivers, and in time for Halloween, we’ve decided to record quite the ghoulish track for our ghostly friends. “Sneaky Creeps” was written and performed deep in the Eighth Dimension crypt and features the gruesome vocals of the mysterious Spooky Molder, who managed to join the ranks of the undead especially for this session. It’s a crunchy and hideous affair, reminiscent of a skeleton garage band but with enough bounce to to make your cobwebs shimmy. Enjoy, have a free download, and share endlessly with friends and demonic spirits alike. Happy Halloween!
October’s pumpkin-hued Invisible Airwaves mix has finally come to the door, offering plenty of treats as well as a handful of tricks. Two hours of choice tunes to toss into your tune bag, covering sonic discoveries in the worlds of dreamy deep house and dastardly disco derivations. We’ve made sure to include more than a few haunting moments within, a frightening affair for the dance floor or cruising along on broomstick, alike. Here’s the somewhat spooky track list:
