Winter Music Conference 2008
Somehow it’s that time of year again when dance music freaks from all over converge in South Beach Miami for a wild and festive week of music called Winter Music Conference. It’s my thirteenth consecutive year going down for this and I’m hoping it will turn out to be a lucky 13. As usual I’ve got some cool gigs … three of them, in fact … and I’d love to see you at one or more if you’re joining the beat-loving throng under the sun. Information about my gigs after the jump.
Friday, March 28 – Boogie at Zafiro
Organized by the Boogie crew in Miami, this gig takes place at a new club occupying the spot that used to be Deep on Washington Avenue. This is a really cool line-up and my ol’ drinking buddy Lisa Shaw will be there hanging out. I’ll be DJ’ing around 9:30 PM.
Friday, March 28 – Big Trouble In Little SoBe
at The Chesterfield
Crazy antics and wild tunes are sure to go down at this party, sponsored by my label EIGHT-TRACKS in collaboration with Nordic Trax and Tight Recordings. You gotta check this one out … it’s going to be a lot of fun. No cover. I am DJ’ing around midnight.
Satruday, March 29 – Chillin Music Party
at The Whitelaw
A nice way to spend part of your Saturday. Some casual vibes to help you through the tail end of your WMC experience care of the long-standing Chillin Music label of Orlando. The line-up is mostly made up of a bunch of friends so there should be good energy all around … and some really splendid music as well. No cover. I’m DJ’ing around 7:30 PM.
