Invisible Airwaves #12 – December 2010 Edition

The December frost brings this yuletide edition of Invisible Airwaves, featuring a load of lovely discoveries and newly released tracks coalesced into a two hour DJ mix by yours truly. Once again it’s an eclectic electronic music selection touching on a load of styles from Italo-influenced synth romps to melodic deep house cuts amid a few indie-dance detours. Mother Falcon presents “The Future”

To the time machine! Tomorrow night (Saturday, December 11) we get a glimpse of “The Future” care of everyone’s favorite renegade art meets custom shirting establishment, i.e. Mother Falcon in downtown Orlando. Creations interpreting the theme of “The Future” will be on display from a myriad of artists, local and otherwise. All the while, I (Mr. Q-Burns Abstract Message) will providing musical sounds also along the lines of this theme (think retro-Italo optimism and Fatback’s “Is This The Future,” but no Timbuk 3, thanks).

Your futuristic dystopia/utopia begins at 8:30 tomorrow evening, going until midnight-ish, at the Mother Falcon shop and it’s totally free admission. Full details below, and the Facebook event page can be found by clicking HERE. Strap on your jet packs and head on over to The Future!



“The Future” begins Saturday December 11th (8pm until late) and we’re inviting some of our favorite Orlando artists to interpret what’s next.

Artists include: Eric Althin, Spectra82, Adrian Gonzalez, Sean Hartman, Victoria Price, Cake, Janae Corrado, Kristal Celeste, Elizabeth Shupe, Dennis Hansbury, Tad Branham and many more!

All artwork will continue to be on display, for sale, and available for T-Shirt printing thru January 14th!

Thornton Park Parking Garage with entrances on North Eola Drive and East Washington Street. Street parking is available if you can find it.
