Thanks to excellent music sharing site Soundcloud I’ve been able to create a music player where you can listen to my recent remixes as well as comment on them and find where they can be bought online. Keep an eye on this page … I’ll be adding a new remix every week with the goal of eventually having my entire remix discography in the player for your listening pleasure. The player will automatically update when i add a new remix.
The streaming remix player can be found after the leap …

My San Francisco-based buddies at Hector Works and Blunted Funk have just launched a regular online radio show on Japan’s Samurai FM. Their show is called Sick Moves and for the first installment they’ve asked me to contribute an exclusive DJ mix. I had a lot of fun with this mix, keeping the BPM low and the beats chuggy, and dropping a few rare & crusty tracks from deep within my vinyl bin. Other DJs featured with their own fine mixes include Anthony Mansfield, Sneak-E Pete, and Ben Cook of Rong Music. Sick Moves is going to be a regular endeavor for Samauri FM and is just another reason to regularly check out Japan’s best Internet radio site.

My love affair with everything South American continues! I’ve just remixed a cool band from Chile called Los Mono. I was exposed to the band via the promotional efforts of Giant Step. They played matchmaker by forwarding my positive comments on the band to the label, Sonic360. I’m glad they did because the result is this tripped out, Latin-vocoder infused, dancefloor ready remix that I’m quite proud of. You can check it out after the fold.
